Esget - 20th Anniversary Choir

Music in the praise of God is a vital part of Immanuel’s life. Congregational singing is led by the gifted organist Sherry Graveson. Piano, along with string, woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments are also a regular part of our services. If you play an instrument and would like to play on Sundays or festival services, contact Kantor Mekonen to schedule an audition.

Our adult choir, directed by Stephanie Mekonen, ordinarily rehearses on Sundays at 8:45 a.m. Additional rehearsals are scheduled to prepare for festival services.

Music at Immanuel is joyously reverent. Steeped in the ancient traditions of liturgical chant, our musicians and singers are at home with Reformation-era song, the great Baroque tradition with the greatest Lutheran composer, J.S. Bach, along with modern composers of sacred music.
