Didache ("did-ah-KAY")

Didache, meaning "teaching, doctrine" (Acts 2:42), is for adults interested in learning more about Christian faith, teaching, and life, with a focus on preparing for Baptism or Confirmation. Led by Immanuel's Senior Pastor, participants work through the Small Catechism, study the Scriptures, discuss the meaning of the Divine Service, and explore how we serve God in our daily lives (vocation).

Intended for those interested in membership at Immanuel, Didache is open to anyone wanting a review of Lutheran doctrine, liturgy, prayer, and ethics. Immanuel will provide a copy of the Small Catechism

Fall 2018 Session

The Fall 2018 session will begin when our associate pastor returns from his leave of absence.

The class is led by Pastor Esget. You are encouraged to bring your own Bible.

Sessions are held in Pastor Esget's study on the upper level of the “old church” wing (take the elevator to level 2, or either stairway to the highest level, and follow the signs).

Please contact Pastor Esget (pastor@immanuelalexandria.org or 703-549-0155) to register or for more information.
