Katherine Kramer

Katherine Kramer has a bachelor of arts from Patrick Henry College in the Classical Liberal Arts with an emphasis on Pedagogy, and minor studies in Literature. In addition to her studies, Miss Kramer served as a student ambassador for the admissions department, as well as a representative of the Pedagogy program. Her college dissertations, Emotional Competence & Children: Development from a Christian Perspective, and Where Learning Takes Place: Dualism v. Trichotomy of Man’s Being in the Quest for True Epistemology, explore the fundamentals of educational theory, specifically as they apply to child development. Katherine carried out her college internship at Trinity Christian School, and also received training as an autistic aide on the side. As a member of the Society for Classical Learning, she is an enthusiastic advocate for the holistic Classical approach to teaching, and believes that a good education shapes the whole person, not just the mind.
Miss Kramer teaches second grade at Immanuel, and loves the daily challenge of training students in excellence, and sharing her enthusiasm for learning.
When she is not busy chasing after her second graders, there is nothing that Katherine enjoys more than watching a good movie in front of a crackling fireplace, spending time with friends and family, or a good fish taco.
