Anna Beck
Anna Beck has a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University Wisconsin with a major in History Secondary Education (Lutheran), and a minor in Latin Language and Culture. While at Concordia, Miss Beck also served as a Peer Mentor for History Students. The history of the classical world holds a special fascination for Miss Beck and she has long been a proponent of classical education. In her Senior Thesis, entitled, “The Antebellum Common School Movement and the Abandonment of Classical Education,” Miss Beck analyzed the philosophical and religious changes in American society that precipitated the abandonment of classical education.
Miss Beck enjoys the challenge of continuing to learn each day, which is why she loves to be in a classroom. Prior to coming to Immanuel, Miss Beck taught the sixth and the third grades at Zion Lutheran School in Piedmont, California.
