Rehema Kavugha
Rehema Kavugha was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska with a Bachelor of Music Education degree as well as a Bachelor of Arts with Music Emphasis Degree. Miss Kavugha is beginning her fifth year of teaching, but her first year here at Immanuel. She recently came to us from Gretna, Louisiana, where she taught music education at Salem Lutheran School.
At Immanuel, Miss Kavugha serves as the primary instructor for the general music program, as well as the director of the afterschool choir. She focuses on fundamental music principles, styles, and instruments, and teaches music history, and knowledge of the great Lutheran tradition of music, as well as the great classics, which have paved the way to music today.
