Baptism 

 

 

Adults who have not been baptized are invited to go through catechesis to prepare for baptism. See the Didache page for more information.

Children of members or regular attenders should be brought to the pastors as soon as possible for baptism. 

Catechesis

If you are not a member of another Missouri Synod congregation, we invite you to go through a period of catechesis and discernment. Individuals or families meet together with the pastor to study the Scriptures and Catechism, and have an opportunity to ask any questions. See the Didache page for more information.

If you are a member of another Missouri Synod congregation and have moved to the Washington, D.C. area, we will help you transfer your membership to Immanuel.
