June 3, 2007 - Paul Techau, Head Elder, is appointed chairman of the Building and Renovation Committee.

March, 2007 - The first major gift is received for the Building and Renovation Fund - approximately $67,000 in mutual fund shares.

March 17, 2007 - A planning meeting of Immanuel's Executive Board leads to a unanimous decision to establish a Building and Renovation Committee and Fund. Specific goals are to renovate the old church building, and to make aesthetic improvements and repairs in the sanctuary and nave. Future renovation of the school building will be necessary, but this work cannot be completed until the main building is addressed (which will also provide temporary space for the school in the event of future renovations to the school building).
