Professionally Staffed Nursery Now Available at Immanuel

Immanuel is pleased to announce the addition of Amber Adkins as children's care provider on Sunday mornings. Ms. Adkins has a Masters degree from George Washington University, and is a school counselor at yorktown high School in Arlington. She has been a preschool teacher for Kindercare and has years of experience working in church nurseries.

Immanuel's nursery will be staffed on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour (beginning at 8:45 a.m.) trhough the end of Divine Service. 

While we greatly value the presence of children in the Divine Service, and want them to learn the liturgy while yet on their mothers' laps, we nevertheless recognize that there are times when they need attention outside the sanctuary. Additionally, for those parents with infants and hcildren below Sunday School age, they may now leave their children in the hands of a competent, caring person while attending Scripture Study.
