Linda Arquette

Linda Arquette graduated from St. John’s Lutheran School (LCMS, Kg.-8), Elgin, IL, near Chicago, where she grew up, and began playing the organ for Divine Service when she was fifteen. She graduated from the University of Illinois in music where she also attended graduate school. She’s lived in the Washington, D.C. area nearly all of her adult life and is married to Paul Arquette, an architect, who serves on the Building and Renovation Committee at Immanuel. They are avid Classical music listeners; her favorite composers are Tchaikovsky, Glazunov, and J.S. Bach. She enjoys playing the piano for herself, for friends and for parties, especially the 1930s, ‘40s and ’50s American standards.
