Nursery and childcare at Immanuel
At Immanuel we believe that families should worship together, with children learning the liturgy from their parents. We encourage parents to guide their children throughout the service, helping them to learn the language of the faith. Your children are welcome here!
At times young children need attention outside of the sanctuary. We have a professionally staffed nursery on Sunday mornings where parents can leave infants and young children, or stay with them; our nursery has rocking chairs and a changing table, toys and Christian books for children. The sound system carries the service to the nursery and the narthex so you don't have to lose contact with the service.
The nursery is also staffed during Scripture Study and Sunday School (8:45 a.m. Sundays), so that parents with infants and other children below Sunday School age can be cared for while parents attend one of our Bible studies.
